Just switched to an HD receiver. The guide screen appears to be in 4:3 ration. How do I set it so it stretches to fill tv screen?

This depends on the type of receiver you have. Some receivers can and some can't change the guide's aspect ratio. What model cable box do you have that is giving you the 4:3 ratio?

Which IPG? Passport is 4:3 only. Contour has 4:3 or 16:9 as a menu option:
SETTINGS -> GUIDE OPTIONS -> OTHER SETTINGS -> GUIDE ASPECT RATIO -> WIDESCREEN (16:9)

Not really familiar with the latest version of Passport. I'd use the TV's ZOOM or STRETCH function if it has one.
