I just bought a Panasonic Viera HDTV. The image was very crisp and highly resolved when we tested it in the store. At home, however, we are unable to see any difference between normal channels (for example, 4, 21 or 59) and HD channels (for example, 1004, 1021 or 1059). The quality of the images is the same on either channel. The movies we watch on Netflix via Apple TV, however, are astonishingly vivid and resolved, and this makes me wonder if there is a problem with our cable box (Motorola HDMI DCX 3200). We live in Georgia. Can you offer any advice on how we can get full HD programming via the cable box?

The analog SD 4:3 image looks the same as the digital HD 16:9 image? I'd say your new TV needs proper set-up.
