Going digital
I have a WinTV program which attaches directly to the Cox input coaxial cable. If I get the digital mini-box, will that allow me to watch my chosen tv channels on my pc through Cox unblocked?

You should still be able to do this. One notable difference however is you'll need to use the mini-box to change channels and leave the PC set to tune on channel 3 or 4 depending on which channel you set the mini-box to output on.
