Errors on modem

I've been having issues with high latency lately, and I noticed that there are some serious-looking event log entries in my modem (I invalided the MACs for security). Usually when this happens I reboot the router and everything's OK for a while.. 16 consecutive T3 timeouts while trying to range on upstream channel 1;CM-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CMTS-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0; Unicast Maintenance Ranging attempted - No response - Retries exhausted;CM-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CMTS-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0; Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received - T3 time-out;CM-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CMTS-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0; Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out;CM-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CMTS-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8:63;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0; Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out;CM-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CMTS-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0; TLV-11 - unrecognized OID;CM-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CMTS-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0; Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out;CM-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CMTS-MAC=e8:zz:zz:zz:zz:z8;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;

I don't know why the text is showing all nice and spaced in the preview, but when I post it runs it all together..

If you see the formatting box above the post or reply section go to Step 2.

If you don't see the formatting box:

Step 1. In Internet Explorer, click on the "tools" tab and add cox.com into Compatibility View.

You should then see the formatting box above the post or reply section.

Step 2. In the drop down menu labled format, select "paragraph".

Your posts will appear as intended.

whasf,

Does your modem connect directly to the cable outlet with coaxial cable or is there a splitter or surge strip connected to the cable? If you have a splitter or surge protector on the coax, please bypass it and power cycle your modem. Once it comes back online run another speed test on the Cox site to record the results.
