If you had an email address in a different state but had Cox services in that area and moved to this area can I continue to use the same email address when I set up a new account in VA. Even though I did make a new email address all of my mail was still going to the other email address I had in the other state until just recently my email completely stopped working???

You can transfer user names from one market to another. If there is a user name on your current account, we would have to delete it first and then transfer them. Please email me at cox.help@cox.com with the old and new address and reference this forum post. I'm happy to review the account and see what's necessary to get this completed.
