email attachments
When I click on an email attachment from friends, instead of it just opening, a "my documents" window opens. I must save the attachment to my documents page and then go there to open the attachment. What is going on? This started just recently. Thanks!

What kind of file is it? Sounds like your browser doesn't have a association with it so doesn't know what to do with it other then save it. However, saving it is the norm. Is it a music or movie file or something?

Usually if your computer can't automatically open the attachment it's because it's a format the computer doesn't normally recognize, so it's trying to just save it.
Go ahead and save it, then right click on the file in the documents folder and choose Open With...
You should have some box that will ask if you always want to open it with the app you choose. Hopefully no issue from then on.
