My internet since 2/19 has been Flakey, to say the least. I have put in numerous support tickets, talked with tier2, had a tech out to my house to replace a modem. This weekend the drops have been coming in harder than ususal, I can time them to almost every 16 mins, followed by 2-3 mins of downtime. I have eliminated all layer 1 possibilities, removed the router, and the issue still persists.
Just now I was on the phone with what seemed to be a tier 1 agent, I think she said her name was Rebecca, I could be mistaken. After waiting 20 mins to talk to someone she ran some "tests", said the signal to my house looked fine, but the modem was showing drops, and resets. She then asked me to hold, the phone went to a ring, and was immediately disconnected. It is now 1am. I have called Cox helpdesk numerous times, was told id be contacted back by an agent on more than one occasion, and have yet to be contacted. This is becoming frustrating.

Weird, what modem do you have?
Can you access 192.168.100.1 and pull a copy/paste of the log?
With a log, someone here can look it over and see what your modem thinks is causing the problem.
You can also post any signal information, if available, so we can see if you are in/out of range.

Just for continuity. I am not hooked up to any splitters, and was bypassed on the router for most of the day yesterday, was still getting drops. I re-hooked up the router for my wife's PC while she was home and i am at work.

Tech was just here. He said my signal coming into the house was low. He also eliminated a splitter out at the service box. Ill continue to monitor for drops. Hopefully that fixes the issue, fingers crossed.
