Digital TV
Cox is going all digital and says we'll need their device on TVs not already hooked to a COX box. All my TVs have digital tuners. Will I still need the new box for sets not using a COX tuner?

You will need a cable box, mini-box, or cable card for EVERY television in your home once the switch to All Digital is complete. Cox will be encrypting all channels, so you need one of those devices to decrypt the channels.

chris_c21 is correct in the required devices to pick up the signal on the encrypted channels. The mini box is at a significantly lower rental rate as to the standard set-top-box.
