data speeds are not acceptable
why am I having download speeds of 2.5Mbps? Is this really the service that cox supplies vs what they advertise? This is ridiculous.

I would be frustrated with those speeds as well. Are you using a wireless router? Have you reset your modem and router recently? Another good way of getting a true idea of the internet speed is to connect the modem directly to the PC and run a speed test.
