What is the difference between Contour record 2 DVR service and Contour record 6 DVR service? What will it cost me?

Just as the names imply... you can either record 2 shows or 6 shows at the same time. Price difference is $7-8 more for Record 6 last I saw.

Here is the user manual for the original Contour, a manual for Contour 2 does not exist. Same complaint on the Comcast forums, X1 has been available for 3 years and still no manual.
