Connectivity problems, varies by time of day.Running speed tests, long latency times up to 55ms. Sometimes disconnects from net while running speedtest. Test can take up to 1 1/2 minutes. I cannot get any response after they cancel repair ticket. This is ongoing for over two years. They know that it is not an equipment issue, hardware or wiring.Everything has been replaced. Internet disconnects between 12AM and 6AM while system is idle. Could someone put me in contact with the right unit, person to resolve this.
This has been going on for over 2 years. Frustrated in Chandler, where Cox is advertising Giga bit.

I took a look at the connection from this end and I'm not seeing any obvious indications of trouble. Would it be possible to try testing this without the router and see if there is any difference?

"Running speed tests, long latency times up to 55ms"
55ms is not a unusual latency amount. What do you usually get?
"Sometimes disconnects from net while running speedtest."
What do you mean by "disconnects"? Do you just mean you go offline, or are you saying your disconnecting from your wireless network?

Tests have been run without the router. direct to modem. If you look at my Cox speed test records they are all over the place.
All of the equipment has been replaced and all of the wiring and all connections. Time to look at something different. Otherwise we are in the insanity mode." Continue to do the same things and expect the results to change". Time to look into the other end of the horse. Going on three years now!

I see where the technician that was out noted that when your PC lost connectivity his maintained a steady streaming video connection while connected through your home network. What software are you using to monitor your connection?

Net Uptime Monitor. The Super did not see a 1 second disconnect because you will not be able to detect that with your vision. He did see the wide variations between Oogla and Cox's version of the speed test. He was not streaming video but running a test. He also promised to call me later yesterday.I had to take his test tools to him in the alley, that is how quick his exit was.The other level 2 tech also departed shortly afterward. I also provided them with 6 months of failure records. This is an intermittent and persistent problem, sometimes weeks between failures. Pull up Cox tests and see they are not consistent.
I will not address TV problems at this time. Every since the start of SDV channels all kinds of missed recordings. and A/V breakups . Also intermittent.
I am glad I did not wait by the phone for a call back. Failure to communicate seems to be a Cox trait, in my experience. Last week the same super canceled a ticket with out ever seeing the problem. Ticket # KSR 000001625677. I can only assume that the same was done with this Ticket KSR 0000016772566. With a 40% saturation rate and 167 users the node should not ever be slow.

A second of disconnect on occasion would be considered within acceptable norms. I see this with my own connection from time to time and it doesn't cause any application issues. I'm not saying there isn't something else going on but we're probably going to need more info to investigate further.
