Coax cable Specs

I would like to know what the specs are of the cable used by COX technicians when new service is installed.  I am getting ready to add a few new runs in my house and I do not want to use inferior cable nor do I want to spend more dollars than is necessary.  Any suggestions? Should I go for the RG6 quad solid core or not?

What we're currently selling in our Solutions Stores is RG-6 tri-shield with copper-coated-steel center conductors, I think made by PPC. In the field, we use a variety of other manufacturers, but RG-6 tri-shield would be the minimum spec.
I would never recommend against installing anything better, however, since 20 years ago RG-59 was the standard and now we're ripping that out and replacing it with steel-core RG-6 tri.  Putting in copper-core RG-6 quad is not a bad idea.

Im a big fan of monoprice for all my cable. This should do.  Ofcourse browse around if you don't need so much. 

Whats even more important then the coaxal is the connecter.  I suggest these.
