channels temporarily off air
I have at least two channels that are off the air. They are Weather Channel and Tru tv. I have rebooted the cable box and unplugged it for 2 minutes. I am in the Rhode Island area.

The "Temporarily off Air" error message is generic: it could indicate that the cable receiver is out of sync with our network and needs to be reset; it can also indicate a possible signal issue. (If the cable signal getting to the receiver isn't as strong as it needs to be, lots of odd symptoms can occur.)
Since resetting the receiver hasn't resolved the problem, it may be a connectivity issue. Make sure all the cable connections to the cable box are finger-tight. Are there any splitters on the coax cable connection from the cable box to the wall outlet? It may be something simple like a splitter at the end of its lifespan, or something outside your home completely; in our equipment.
If the channels are still not working after you bypass the splitter, we may need to schedule a service call for you. I want you to be able to enjoy all the channels you subscribe to! I'm happy to help set up a service call at your convenience.

I've experienced the same problem today and I am in Virginia. I've experienced it on SYFY, INDIE, TCM and other on both HD and regular digital. This seems more than just a reset. I had my box reset yesterday. There must be something else for it to error out in less than 24 hours.
