Can't set favorites or skip channels
Hope someone can tell me what I'm missing. I can only set a very limited number of favorites channels. I've spend several minutes selecting favorites and they drop off the list; like there's only a limited number of favorites allowed. Skipped channels works the same way. I've tried different profiles too. I have the new DVR box. thanks.

I don't know what an IPG is. I know I can only select about 30 favorites max or 30 skipped channels max, which **.

I.P.G.= Interactive Program Guide. Given the receiver, you're subscribed to Contour Guide. Are you getting an error message when attempting to setup your favorites and skipped channels, or are you finding it doesn't save your changes afterwards?
