blocking incoming call numbers

If you pay for Cox "Selective Call Rejection" you can block 29 numbers. But Cox won't let you block any 800, 866,888, 877 number.  I called and asked why but they just said that you can't.  Cox also won't stop any "unknown caller" , "number unavailable".

Another poster mentioned that Panasonic sells a phone that blocks 250 numbers. I took their advice and bought it ( i don't work for Panasonic or promote them online).  It is working great.  Model KX-TG7872 but they might have a newer model.
