Major problems with recording errors last night
I tried to go though customer support but the automated thing is a joke so I will go through the forums. Was there some kind of technical problem with Cox Cable last night because all of my recording last night and this morning got a "Recording error". It is showing up but I can't play and only shows like 9:59 - 9:59 for example. Last night was the worst but I have been having these issues for the last week or so that is only fixed with a refresh. I shouldn't have to refresh my box ever day I do not have Contour. I still have the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8240HDC version or something like that. I am not sure what version of "software" I have but I just did a refresh so I should have the most recent version.5.2KViews0likes9CommentsDVR not working and Box keeps resetting?
My DVR list is unavailable. I have reset my tv box about five times now and it's still not working nor can I even record new shows. Also, yesterday, my box continually reset on its own about three times... Is anyone else having these problems? The box reset could be due to some sort of update but if no one else is experiencing this then perhaps my box is defective. Also, the fact that my DVR doesnt work anymore definitely leads me to this conclusion but first I want to see if I'm the only one... Any feedback is appreciated.
