They confirmed there are in fact issues with the feeder line to my building(not the drop line to my house). They also did find the higher than ideal power levels that they said is an overall local infrastructure issue. The techs said they don't fix any of that, but they did assure me they put in a work order for the construction team to come out and fix the feeder line and to further investigate the power levels on my street. While it's still not fixed, this is the most promising interaction... and Cox finally admitted there is nothing I can do to fix this- it's all on their end. Re: Daily Intermittent Connection Loss - Louisiana Thanks for that follow up insight. It's not my Devices(several wired and wireless), it's the entire connection. All my devices loose connection at the same time, not just my computer. I finally got two good technicians out after complaining so much to Cox, who actually did a deep dive analysis on my internet. Re: Daily internet disconnect in the evening I just want my internet to work 😩 Re: Daily internet disconnect in the evening Looking up class action suits in the past, Cox was recently sued for not providing "fast and reliable" residential internet service as they advertised. Haha. But... "Because of your Cox contract, there will often be specific wording that prevents you from jumping into any Class Action that you find (this has not always been the case, and the story of why can be an interesting read)". I believe the contract also has lots of language preventing you from suing them. I read there is an arbitration clause for resolving disputes, I'm not small claims court would be worth the hassle. Re: Daily Intermittent Connection Loss - Louisiana Thanks for the post! At least there is something I can try, I'm desperate. My issue has gone on for more than a year and Cox has yet to suggest a possible/realistic cause. Thanks again, I hope the attenuator works for me too. Re: Daily internet disconnect in the evening So thanks for the best/only explanation I've seen so far on here. I do wonder if this type of thing would turn into a class action thing. Wish the FCC or state public service commissions would start investigating these things. I'm going to go out of my way to try to create a report or complaint. Re: Daily internet disconnect in the evening Thanks for the info... It'sweird that Cox won't acknowledge anything issues in their end (or customer end) on here. They have no solutions on here, only "email us". Re: Daily internet disconnect in the evening Thanks for the info...
