on contour under guide/tv listings why is there in soooo many channels it says LA/PEG in the description what does this mean never saw this before?

sooo many channels from today thru 2 weeks from now the guide/tv listings have LA/PEG in the description, never saw this before, what does it mean why no description, supposedly cox just updated/upgraded our area and now this ????
