Can’t pair contour 2 remote with Yamha av receiver

I just upgraded to cox contour2. All is well but I can’t get on your 2 remote to pair with my Yamaha av receiver. It’s a Yamaha TX-v1600 model.

now I have to swotch back and forth on the remotes. Tried all the codes that show up whe av reviver is a Yamaha.

can anyone help. Isthere a special cpdethat does’t show up in the learn mode on the contour 2 remote?
