Unable to connect to CoxWIFI

Hello, I’m currently having a problem, no devices I try to use will connect to the public WiFi, I’ve tried too connect between 2 devices and I am unable too, when I try with my phone I can’t even connect too the network, I’ve tried removing the saved connection and rejoining but that still didn’t work , as for my computer I am getting a error when trying to troubleshoot, showing me "DCHP" and when I am trying connect I am unable too see the "straightup" login page

my computer just says "No Internet, Open"

I’ve tried looking this problem up and it seems to happen a lot , but zero solutions , contacting support was my last ditch effort after everything else failed

I am trying to use the Public WiFi

Hello. CoxWiFi may not be available in all areas. Some public places restrict this feature, so please be sure that isn't the case. https://www.cox.com/residential/internet/learn/cox-hotspots.html It really depends on where the hotspot is to determine what the issue may be. Is this the first time connecting in that area? Thank you for troubleshooting in the ways you have already. If we can help in this troubleshooting, please email us at cox.help@cox.com with your name, service address, the address where you're trying to connect to this WiFi and a link to this thread, and we will help investigate it further.

Thank you for explaining this further. We may need to check that hotspot to see what is happening or what changes were made. Please email us with the details, and we can have it checked. Thank you.

Are you a Cox Customer, using a speed approved to be able to connect to the Cox WiFi? If so, clear the connection from your phone, and then when Cox WiFi shows up, ensure you have a good strong connection. If so then connect. You SHOULD, unless your device settings are changed, then be presented with an option to open a web page and login. If not, try from a different location, and see if it is possibly just a problem with the location you are currently at.

Ensure you have your DNS set to dhcp also.

Cox is down at our house right now, also. Unfortunately it has been down today and was down yesterday… it is a bit irritating when I just paid for extra streaming services so we could Watch Football. Ugh.
