Text alerts are useless

Why am I getting a text reminder to pay my bill 22 days before it's due?

Does Cox just enjoy stressing people out and giving them added things to worry about?  How is this a value added service that's like saying "Hey you got to pay bills this month just a reminder."

So stupid
