Hello,
We recently moved into a new apartment and our coax outlet plug was completely gone. Had a technician come over and fix it, and said usually when the customer is not at fault, they could waive that technician fee. I still ended up getting charged that fee. Is there any way to get that fee waived?

Welcome to the Cox Community Forums, where customers can discuss technical topics relating to Cox services with other customers. Billing, account and some service issues require the sharing of sensitive information to resolve which isn't best suited for a public forum. Please email us at cox.help@cox.com with your full name, complete street address, the details of your concern and a link to this post. You can also reach us on Twitter/X @CoxHelp, or visit us on Facebook.
Because this post falls outside of the purpose of our forums I will be turning off replies to this thread. We look forward to receiving your email so that we may assist you.

Everything past the demarc, where the coax from outside connects to your electrical ground, isn't Cox's responsibility. Maybe see if you can take it out of your rent? Ask your landlord who is responsible for the wiring in your complex but not your apartment.
