SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync
I have tried twice with tech support to no avail. BEYOND FRUSTRATING. All they do if refer me to the manufacturer of the Modem/Router and I've already done this. I've tested the modem on someone else internet without issue so its clearly not the modem (It's modem/router combo). At this point I am losing connection almost every ten minutes.

SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync caused by noise on the line, in this case, I would go around and make sure that all coaxial connections are finger tight, once done power off the modem for 2 minutes and then back on if after all that and you and still getting the error email us your full name, address, and link to this thread cox.help@cox.com so we can schedule a technician out.

testing on someone else's internet is apples/oranges, unless both are exactly the same.
