How to connect Feit Smart LED bulbs

I am trying to connect Feit electric smart LED bulbs and they can’t seem to connect to the network.  I am using the Technicolor panorama WiFi router and assigned different passwords for my 2.4 and my 5g networks.  It seems that the bulbs can’t connect because of the 5g signal.  Does anyone know if there is a way to turn the 5g off just temporary so I can get a bulb to connect.  Once I get one bulb on the network the rest will connect.  I am frustrated and need a pearl of wisdom to make this happen ... please help... thanks
