Thanks for the reply.  Where may I view release notes or update activity?  I'm interested to know on how often it occurs and  what is upgraded/patched/streamlined.

They're generally only minor stability improvements, but we're under agreements with many manufacturers not to release internal documentation, so unless the manufacturer themselves releases a changelog or you find one posted elsewhere on the internet, the full list of changes won't normally be available.
