Youtube is SLOW!
Everything else is fast but Youtube at peak times. I have worked with your support groups and your network engineers. I have even had a tech come out and redo my lines, but still Youtube is slow as peak times. You guys really need to get a better connection to Youtube servers on the backend. I am having to resort to running a VPN to another provider to stream Youtube video and that is why I know this is a Cox problem. PLEASE tell your engineers to invest in better teaming with Tier 1 providers!

Seems to be an issue with some of your DNS servers. Manually setting my DNS to 68.2.16.30 and
68.2.16.25 seems to have increased load times for some reason.

Its actually a long story, but so far the best work around I have heard is using Level3 DNS 209.244.0.3 and 209.244.0.4. I started a thread else where in the problem seemed worse in AZ and the SW in general. Makes sense since I think that's their biggest market. Its not really their fault though, since Cox cant force Youtube (google) to buy more bandwidth. Google is playing it cheap and relaying too much on the bandwidth provided to them for free. Kind of weird since they have more money then...anyone. Cox could provide more for free, but I don't see it really as fair. Tell you what though, when/if Google ever goes full ISP, I bet thats going to change.
