I noticed the site has been running better last couple of months. The header problem and the random site freezes have stopped. There is still a problem with the HTML editor plugin failing to load occasionally, which stops the writing of a post. To disable the HTML plugin, go to Settings > Advanced Options > Content Editor > Plain Text. This disables many features so should only be disabled for as long as the forum is experiencing issues.

Kind of ironic you answered now because the forum is broken as we speak. The HTML editor won't come up on any new post, but will in a reply. Also I can't save any changes to my profile, including switching to plain text. This means the work around WON'T work unless you keep it as plain text. Can't change it during the problem.
See link here and here for pictures of the problem.
::Edit:: And now 10 min later, it's back to normal.

My main problem is that the site won't load. I wait for 15 seconds and then leave. @Teckknow, i read your earlier workarounds. Easier to come back another day.

The post was as much to show the problem as it was to show a way around it. I think what's happening is the site has to back up or under go some routine maintenance. While this is happening certain parts of the site break down. I think they have made improvements to what systems go down but the main problem stands. I just wish someone at Cox would be open about the issue.
@Moderators: Can you confirm you have problems with the forum too?
