wireless TV reception option?

Just bought a house and two of the bedrooms don't have a cable outlet. Will I need to have them added to get cable in those rooms or is there a wireless feature that I can get for them?

There are quite a few wireless options, but they all send/receive the program that is tuned by the main receiver/DVR. No options that I am aware of that sends the whole 30MHz-1GHz wirelessly.

What were you looking to watch on the TV's? Basic cable? Sometimes a cheap Roku or something else works for a small TV in a guest room for example. Supplies Netflix and other streaming services and is pretty easy to set up wireless. But any wireless video solution is going to be expensive, and more focused on short range then a wireless TV exactly.

I am just learning about forums and am looking for something like this also. But where we want the TV we cannot get wired for cable without the cords going up and around door frames and windows. I don't understand the replies below. Does it mean that we simply can't move the TV without a hard wire to the TV?

What TV do you have? The 3 ways to connect wirelessly to your TV is either it's built into the TV, you buy or it comes with a wireless adapter you plug into a USB port on the TV, or you buy some kind of wireless to ethernet bridge/adapter. Alot of it will depend on what your TV can do.

However, none of those is bringing "cable" to the TV, but rather its bringing a internet connection to it. Just like your computer can watch movies and TV shows without a cable line going into it, so can some TV's. They have small computers built inside that run some of the same kind of programs and apps that your computer does. But watching movies and TV shows online is different then the TV getting the cable signal. Think of it like the difference between a actual radio and pandora. Both play music, but having one doesn't get you the other. Hope that makes sense.
