What do I do to hookup a new Modem/Router that I bought?

I just bought a Netgear AC1750 Cable Modem WiFi router, I know how to hook it up but what do I do to get connected to my Cox internet?  I don't see anything that addresses that on the site.

Hi, make sure the coaxial cable is connected the modem and connect the modem to your computer using an ethernet cable. Go here and follow the prompts to self register the modem: activation.cox.net/
