Watching BeIn Sports without Sports Pack 2
I think its great that Cox finally added Bein Sports to their service. One of my friends discovered it while browsing through the channels and told me and many other soccer fans about it as well. It appears COX added the channel out of nowhere without me or my friends ordering Sports Pack 2. We all own the sports and information package and we believed BeIn Sports was just added to that service. However, the more i look into it, the more I'm starting to think that it may have either been a mistake or that the people that are able to view Bein Sports without the correct package will get cut off soon. Can you please explain what exactly is going on? I don't want to lose this channel and my monthly bill is already pretty high so paying another $10 for the channels is out of the question.

Hi There,
BeIN Sport, BeIN Sport HD, BeIN Sports en Espanol, and BeIN Sports en Espanol HD are dual-carried in the Sports Pak 2 and the Latino Pak in Rhode Island. As long as you subscribe to either the Sports Pak 2 or the Latino Pak you will be able to enjoy all the soccer that BeIn has to offer! You can view the 2014 Rhode Island channel lineup at http://media.cox.com/support/print_media/tv/cls/ne_cle/cl_rhodeisland.pdf.

Thanks for the response Becky. Whats odd about the situation is I don't have the sports pack 2 or the Latino package. I am still able to watch BeIn Sports. That is why I am asking if it is a promotional thing or some kind of a mistake. And i am not the only one because many of my friends are watching bein sports as well without any added subsciptions.

It would be interesting to hear what they say. In the mean time i am happy that i have it and I'am enjoying my soccer everyday! Hopefully it stays like this for the rest of the season!
