Upgrading to DOCSIS 3.0 Modem

Hi,

I received an E-Mail from COX stating that I can upgrade my modem to a DOCSIS 3.0 for $39.99. When I try to call the number in the e-mail, I get to someone directly but nobody seems to know what's going on and they continually transfer me to a different location.

I work in a call center and don't really want to come home from work to be transferred around all day when I get home.

My question is: Can I just call the standard 383-4000 number and speak to sales about purchasing it? Also, does this require a technician coming out to my location to install it?

I would definitely speak to your local sales department and advise them of the email you received.  They should be able to apply the promotional discount to your order.
