Upgraded to ARRIS 8200 DOCSIS 3.0 modem, but speed still capped
My plan says I should be getting upwards of 100 Mbps download, however I seem to be capping out ~30 or lower on speed tests, and I download at about 3 Mbps from websites and gaming platforms.
Is there a way to clear this up or remove the cap from my service?

Are your results based on being hardwired directly to the modem or using a router?

This was fixed by Cox. Called in and I was still set to DOCSIS 2.0 settings and speeds. Apparently they have a built in system to limit speeds for DOCSIS 2.0, so if you upgrade make sure that gets switched over.
