tv/cell phone connection

   I have new cell phone number () connection with Consumer Celluar which had previous owner().

  Now when I call someone the name pops up on tv screen and no one answers my call.Consumer celluar tells 

  that it will take 90 days to have phone company correct and delete as the owner/caller for assigned number.

  Seems to be sxcessive amount of time.
