TV Protection Plan

What exactly is the "Protection Plan" list on my bill and do i really need it? $19.99 /month

Protection plan is a wire plan. It covers the repair and replacement of most internal telephone and cable wires inside the house. I didn't know it was 19.99. I thought it was under 10$ Maybe call up their billing department and double check? Not a technical problem though.
