The Blaze

Verizon just decided to add The Blaze to its channel line up.  Does Cox plan on following suit, or is a switch to Verizon in the future of both my household and countless others?

Hi TR270,

Cox does not currently have an agreement with The Blaze to carry its programming at this time.  In the meantime, you can watch TheBlaze TV anytime on your PC/MAC, iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and TV via Roku. I've submitted a channel request on your behalf. We will include this request in our future channel launch planning process.

Thank you,

Switch away, TR270. We don't want/need no "Blaze."

It makes no sense that this channel isn't offered. I too would like to see the Blaze offered on the COX lineup, seeing as you already offer horribly rated news networks such as MSNBC or CNBC. According to gathered data TheBlaze ranks in the top 10 most streamed networks, competing with other networks such as NFL network, Netflix, HULU, and even MLB and NBA networks... As a company, how can you not provide such a highly rated, and requested network? After only a few minutes of research I was able to find multiple archive posts relating to this topic dating back to 2013... how many channel requests must be "submitted" before a change occurs?

MOD,

Could you please close this thread?

I thought this was a technical forum, not a place where one discusses the merit -or, in this case lack of merit- of carrying a so-called biased news channel.
