Tech Support
I tried calling but your tech support hung up on me, that is not what I pay your outrageous charges for.
Half of the channels on TV are frozen, Fix it, you charge too much for this **.

I wonder if there is a cable issue in the area I/we live? As I realize, after seeing your post, it's not only an issue I am experiencing... It's an odd glitch though. I haven't found a single channel that's not frozen on an image. And I've tried multiple TV's.

There seems to be an issue with at least 1/2 the channels or more. It's on both TVs and they have different boxes so it's not a cable box issue. On me those channels are just a black screen.

I am having the same problems and on the chat link, I have been stuck on 24 in the queue for more than 20 minutes. . .this is the first time that I have had the phone helpline hang up on me. . .you would think that they would want to send out an alert when they are having problems, it would make it easier than having upset subscribers.

I'm so sorry about the interruption in your cable TV services last night! I know the outage caused a great deal of frustration, and we truly appreciate your patience. Our video engineers have restored service at this time. If you are still experiencing problems with frozen or black-screened channels, please reboot your cable receiver.

This interruption again supports returning the System Status page. It would inform all affected subscribers of a problem in their area. If we know Cox is aware of and addressing the problem, we won't call and, in turn, you won't hang up on us. Don't we deserve to know what's happening?
Informed subscribers are happy subscribers.

It's back.
Audio drops, pixelation, tiling, flashing, black screen, blockiness...

I looked around online and looks like scuttlebutt is a damaged broadcasting dish in the NV area. Maybe storm? Even people in Texas are reporting a issue...but I didn't think Texas had Cox. ::ponder::

It's happening again. Your video engineers stink.

Not disagreeing, but why are you blaming the engineers? If a big storm took out a dish, that's AOG if you ask me. Or did something else happen?
Are you having the same symptom as everyone else? Sounds like the main part is over, and now clean up?

Moderator said Video Engineers were troubleshooting...not Radar Techs.
