"Subscription Required..." WTF?!

Stop me if you heard this.  For over 2 years, I've had a Ceton card paired with a Cablecard using Windows Media Center (win 7).  No problems.  Then today I can no longer view standard or premium channels because of the dreaded "Subscription Required" error message.  Clearly, my bill is up to date.

Restarted my HTPC and Tuning Adapter.  Same.  Restarted again.  Same.  Diagnostics on the Ceton card says everything is fine, but no channels list is available.

What gives?  Anybody else having the same problem?

They probably just need to send a Pairing hit to your card. It is pretty normal for them to move around some of the channel mapping. When you have a Box, it updates on the fly, with a cable card, you need a hit. Just don't have them touch the pairing, instead just have them send a pairing signal. Should pop right on.

Yep, you were right Trikein.  That did the trick.  It was so quick and easy that the (very helpful) tech support person was surprised!  I was also sure to call Cox's Ceton help line (888-556-1193) to ensure that I got someone knowledgeable.

Thanks for the reply:-)
