Some attachments not opening

I have an email with 3 attachments, these were created on the same computer. Two of them will open and one will not. My husband has the same email and all three open on his. Is it a setting or something else. Very frustrating. Thanks for any help.

Hi, Are these photo attachments or document attachments? Are you using Outlook or another sort of mail program? Thanks!  -Steff

What kind of attachments are they?  What opens and what doesn't?  What happens when you try to open the attachment in question?  Do you get any message?  We need more details, kind of flying blind here.

What is the attachment called? Does it have an extension (xxxx.xxx) ?? You probably do not have the software needed to open that attachment.
