Skipping Channels on a Minibox

I just installed my new minibox and to my amazement there does not appear to be a way to select channels to skip when changing channels. Please tell me I'm overlooking something and that this function exists. I can't imagine something so simple was overlooked and isn't possible with a minibox.

Dear Bruinguy92: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE use your influence to get Cox to find a solution to this problem. We are all now forced into using Mini Boxes, and you cannot do anything as basic as skip channels. No longer can you click-around to look for something interesting to watch on TV, without going through scores (or is it hundreds?) of channels in languages you do not speak, selling stuff you are not interested in, OTHER cities public access, blank place holders, music channels that sound awful on TV speakers, and a whole host of other JUNK. Please help.

Simple answer: Use a regular STB instead of the mini-box.

Cox is probably wondering why they didn't think of that before.
