Hi. I am shopping for TV/internet services for an apartment I rent. May I suspend these services for the months when the apartment is unrented?
Thanks.

Hi jonnydas,
Yes, you would be able to suspend the service for the time that it is not being used. To set that up, you would contact your local support center and they would be able to put you on what is called a "seasonal saver" so that you can resume services when you are ready. I am not sure of the fees involved, they would be able to provide that information as well.

I think you misunderstood him. The way I read it, he was the landlord, not the renter. I guess he wants to include TV/HSI service in the rental price without having to pay for it when the property was unrented. Correct, jonnydas?

If that is the case, it all comes down to if he wants the service in his name or the renters name. If the renters name, they would have to call in to do a self install. The service could be prepped, the account created, the connection connected at the pole ahead of time but the data service not turned on until they call.
Or he can put it in his name, as land lord, and just have the account in seasonal when no one is staying there. If he just means have a active account in his name and just not be charged when someone isn't there....no.
