Problems logging into my Cox account

I am having problems logging into my account on my laptop running Windows 10. My MacMini is fine. Last May my girl friend and her husband visited me. Her husband asked if he could use my laptop to get his emails from his Cox account. Ever since then, for some reason, his login information pops up. It got a lot worse yesterday when I changed my password for my account. Now whenever I go to to login, his login information is there. I can change his information to mine and I can get into my account, but when I log off, his login information is there. It's always there. I feel my computer is possessed. I called Cox and the tech person told me to call another number where they could go into my computer and check everything out for $99. That is not an option for me. Could this be a cookie issue? This is driving me insane.....

Hi Helene, when you go to the log in screen for Cox Web Mail, enter your User ID and Password then check the box Remember User ID, then click on Sign in. After Web Mail loads, click on Logout on the left., then close the browser window. Re-open the browser window and navigate to webmail.cox.net and check to see if your User ID is showing in the Sign In box.

Helene, yes, it could be a cookie issue.  Did you try clearing all cookies and cache?  If not, please do.  Browsers also offer to save logins/passwords, you should be able to clear that out in Options/Security, details depend on what browser you are using ... if you need more help, please post which one you are using.  Thanks.
