Recently, we've upgraded our internet tier to the premier package. As I understand this is advertised as 50 Mbs down/10 Mbs up. Also, as I understand it, to achieve these speeds or speeds around it, one must have a DOCSIS 3.0 capable modem. I've got a Cisco DPC382 modem in which I ordered from Cox.
I have tested the internet speeds after connecting this modem and I have not been able to achieve anything above 32 Mbs down. From the Cox internet speed test:
| Sat Nov 02 07:54 PM | Yes | 24 Mbps | 12 Mbps | 40 millisec |
| Sat Nov 02 07:40 PM | Yes | 25 Mbps | 7 Mbps | 36 millisec |
| Sat Nov 02 05:49 PM | Yes | 32 Mbps | 19 Mbps | 39 millisec |
| Sat Nov 02 04:42 PM | Yes | 32 Mbps | 19 Mbps | 37 millisec |
| Sat Nov 02 04:35 PM | Yes | 32 Mbps | 18 Mbps | 34 millisec |
These test results came from a PC directly connected to the modem. I have done a manual reset but still no changes in speed. I have read other forum threads from others with similar issues, and it seems as though they have been able to get their issues resolved from support on here. Any help to resolve this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I've reset the modem to clear out the config file and ensure everything is updated. Now that the modem is back online I'll need to to go to the cox website to repeat the test please. From this end it shows the updated speeds assigned.
