Premier Speed
Hello,
I just upgraded to Premier from Preferred. The modem I am using now is a SB5101. My top d/l speed maxes out at 33 Mbps and my u/l hovers around 9 mbps. I was getting close to these speeds while I had Preferred. Even though the SB5101 is a docsis 2.0....shouldn't I be getting higher speeds? FYI ....getting a SB6141 next week. Please check my codes/settings. Thank you!

I am surprised you are getting even 33Mbps. Most DOCSIS 2.0 modems I have seen cap between 24-27Mbps. You will need to wait until you get the SB6141 to see the 50Mbps of Premier.
Also, any changes to your account regarding having the correct service code will have to wait until then too. Thats because you can't have the DOCSIS 3.0 Premier service code on your account until you have a DOCSIS 3.0 modem on your account. Just be sure to ask about it when you call in to add your SB6141.
