Parallel Line
presently i hv a home (Phone 1) line hooked to Modem, Tel, Answering machine.
i wish to run a Parallel line for my 2nd phone to this Phone 1.
pls advise HOW i do it? TKS for ur attention.

Why not connect your telephone modem to a phone jack? That'll send the signal from your modem, throughout your household wiring and to all other phone jacks. Connect as many telephonic devices as your have jacks.

Bruce has a great suggestion! If you connect the telephone line from your modem to a phone jack/outlet, all of the phone jacks in the home should then have a dial tone.
