I have the whole house DVR that records up to six shows at one time. Not sure who watches that much TV, but my problem is when I go to watch an on demand show, about 50% of the time, the timer bar on the bottom shows the show/movie starting, but there's no video. I have to exit out and restart from the beginning (resume doesn't work) to actually get video on the screen.
Is this is DVR bug issue? Operator error?
It's annoying and I'd like to get it fixed.
Any help would be appreciated.
(I'm also working on an internet speed issue that's existed since I turned the service on back in August - could that be a contributing factor?)
Thanks
John

I've also had this issue on PPV, but not nearly as frequently - maybe 20% of the time.

The issues you are experiencing with On Demand and PPV are most definitely related to the internet issue Chris identified earlier today. Since we know your upstream signal levels are higher than we want them to be--and it is affecting both services--I recommend that we schedule a service call. Is there a time of day and day of the week that would best for you? Our appointment time slots are 8-10am, 10-12pm, 1-3pm, 3-5pm, & 5-7pm, seven days a week. I have openings in the schedule as early as tomorrow!
