On Demand failing after only a few hours usage

I'm a digital Cable customer in Central Kansas, and for 2 days now every time I try to watch more than 3 hours worth of On Demand programming, it fails. "Not Available" Total failure. Short (1 minute) and long (10 minute) disconnect of my digital box don't fix the problem, so don't even try that old, pathetic excuse. FYI, you need to fix your service, COX. Maybe stop charging people outrageous prices when you utterly fail. I honestly don't expect any meaningful response, I just put this here so that in the future, you don't waste money on focus groups and 3rd-party surveys as to why customers are deserting you in droves. You have no one to blame but yourselves.

I'm a customer in San Diego and I have the same problem.  It NEVER works right.  Either I can't play it at all or it hangs up in the middle and gives the same error message.  Rebooting the box, signal to the box, unplugging the box ... nothing works.  I'm ready to cancel since I can watch Netflix or Hulu without commercials every time, without fail.  Disabling the fast forward feature is just a horrible idea, too.  If it hangs up, doesn't work, or I want to watch it on another set I have to watch what I've already seen in order to finish the show.  Once again, don't have this problem on other services.  Apple TV FTW.  Cable costs entirely too much money for it not to work like promised, and I think every time I have an issue with on demand they should credit my service for that day.

Hi Everyone,

There was a known issue with titles missing from On Demand that has been resolved. I'm not seeing a known issue about OnDemand not being available. Are you having this issue on all TVs? Is the cable straight from the wall to the receiver or is there a splitter?
