not achieving advertised speed

I can't achieve anything close to the 100MPS I'm paying for. I had a tech out my house 3 weeks ago and the best they could do was 60mps. I was supposed to get a call about this being elevated and I haven't been contacted. I checked my speed today and couldn't get anything higher than a 37MPS. Why am I paying for 100MPS when I can't even consistently get 50mps?

First, I assume you mean Mbps or Megabits per second? What model modem do you have and how are you connecting to run the tests?

Also, what plan do you have? Premier?

I sent a message to your facebook page. I checked my speed again today. I'm still only at 55Mbps. That's ** when I've been paying for 100Mbps for a year now! When are you going to get this fixed? It's been a month since you were notified. I'd like to think I'll get some credit for all the time I've been paying for what you promise and can't produce!

I'm not sure what them coming out a second time is going to do. They were here a month ago and tested the modem and every cable line in my house. What I need is a refund for all the service I have been paying for that I haven't been getting and either 1) my speed fixed so I am getting what I pay for or 2) just lower my plan down to 50Mbps. This has gotten past ridiculous. I spent several hours yesterday with a tech online going over and over my modem. Obviously you can't provide the service you've been bilking me for

I'll be sure to let anyone who asks me whether or not they should pick between cox and direct TV or dish network know exactly how Cox treats customers they've had for years.

I guess I should have been speed testing my internet from day one so I could be getting credit for all the time it obviously hasn't been working right. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to have known it never reached the 100Mbps without actually speed testing the day you upgraded your whole system. I'd wager no one went right out and did a speed test.

Well a tech came out again for a second time and could not get the speeds to go any higher. I have called and just switched to the next tier down. I'll be calling the loyalty department. I have been told that I should get a $150 credit or 3 months of internet free by someone I talked to. We'll see if Cox will abide by that or not.
