New Smart TV - Explorer 2100 - HD?
I recently purchased a Samsung smart TV and currently have an Explorer 2100. What cable should be used for HDMI conversion with the Explorer 2100 so I can connect the new TV?
If the Explorer 2100 is not HDMI compatible, then should I bring the box to my local Cox store for an exchange?

The Explorer 2100 is a standard definition receiver and does not have the high definition capability. You exchange your receiver at any local Cox Solution store.
