New Router not picking DHCP IP address
Hello, got a new Ubiquiti EdgeRouterX, interface is set for DHCP, but doesn't seem to be picking up an IP address. Is this cached in the modem? Would power cycling the modem help, or does it just take a while to timeout?
Any ideas much appreciated......

Each time you change the MAC address(either physically or virtually) of the device being assigned a IP, you have to reboot the modem to redo the DHCP process. Also, are you connected direct to a stand alone modem and not a gateway? If so, and still not working after reboot, can you show how the devices WAN interface is configured?
