new emails are missing in Windows mail

For the past two weeks, some of my new emails have been disappearing without being moved and or deleted.  I have the Cox Security Suite installed.  I am now running a complete scan of my system with the most recent updates.  Is anyone else experiencing this problem?  Does anyone have suggestions that may resolve this problem?

No viruses detected.  I'm running the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool.

By chance do you have your account setup as an IMAP account?  Do you have other devices setup to access your account using IMAP?  If both of those are true it's possible they're being deleted on one device which would sync to the other.
